We can’t wait to see you at our annual fundraiser crawfish boil! The funds from this help us continue to give free swim lessons all summer long! Join us for some delicious eats, live music, and great company!

Been a long week? A little water therapy goes a long way. Floating or swimming helps relax your mind and body. If you don’t have a pool, check your city’s website for public options near you!

Why is this number so low? Multiple reasons come into play: Lack of farmland preservation in Austin (Travis County loses about 16.8 acres of farmland to development every day), aging farmers, low farm labor income, population growth, high land costs

Why is blowing bubbles such an important step in learning how to swim? 🫧

1. Breath control — teaches exhaling underwater and inhaling above water
2. Relaxation — helps reduce anxiety and calms the nervous system
3. Comfort with submers

We want to take a moment to highlight two passionate volunteers who make a huge impact at Tankproof — Colleen and James! ✨

From early memories of swimming to their passion for teaching kids how to safely enjoy the water, these two bring heart,
