FOUNDERS

Thurman and Torrence are the two brothers and founders of Tankproof! They are truly the fuel behind this organization. Thurman and Torrence are musicians and artists by trade, also known as THEBROSFRESH. Back in 2011, they wanted to find an avenue to give back to their local community and that’s when Tankproof was born. What started as a non-profit focused on providing swim lessons to kids who need it most, is now a thriving organization not only providing water safety but also food security to underserved communities in 9+ states across the U.S.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Krystal Frame is the Director of Operations of Tankproof. Her adult career started in the fashion and hospitality industries working in various positions. Krystal found herself lost in the mix, concerned by the ways her industries of work were negatively impacting the planet. She decided to set her eyes on advocacy work in the environmental space with an awareness of the connections of social justice issues. With her attention focused on the issues at hand, she hopes to create a radical shift in the framework of the retail and hospitality industries. Krystal enjoys cinema, film photography, volunteering for local community organizations, and spending time with her family and daughter!

AQUATICS DIRECTOR

Theodore Lee is the Aquatics Director at Tankproof. There has been one constant in Theodore’s life and that has always been water and sharing the gift of swimming. While his career path has taken him more in the direction of leadership, swimming, and water safety have always been the medium through which Theodore paints the picture of love and compassion for others. For Theodore, being in the water and teaching others how to swim is the one place in the world where he feels the most himself. He takes great pride in showing people they can do things they didn’t think were possible. Theodore enjoys teaching people that a lot of times some of life’s greatest adventures and accomplishments are just on the other side of fear. When Theodore is not in the pool, he is a proud father to a future rockstar. Some of his favorite things to do are archery and anything that has two wheels and can take him faster than a human is naturally meant to go!

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Grace Owen is the Art Director at Tankproof. She has been with Tankproof since she was a student at LSU. She now lives in Denver, CO and works full-time as a graphic designer. Grace designs all of the major event flyers and merch for Tankproof. The playful and illustrative nature of her branding is meant to resonate well with the kids, while still maintaining a modern and fresh feel. Grace is always experimenting with new styles, and while she has a specific “look and feel” for the designs of Tankproof, she is constantly adapting to meet the needs of each city, brand collab, and event. Some of Grace’s favorite things are pizza with hot honey, iced vanilla latte with oat milk, skiing, listening to the Strokes, and watching Seinfeld!

MARKETING MANAGER

Teodora Zlateva is the Marketing Manager at Tankproof. She is responsible for the development of the website, email marketing, SEO, and creating partnership reports and proposals. Teodora loves the team, mission, and vision of Tankproof. She feels very fortunate to have joined the organization back in 2022. In her spare time, Teodora enjoys traveling the world and exploring new places. Some of her favorite things are: hot yoga, eggs benedict for brunch, and oat milk cappuccinos!

SOCIAL MEDIA + PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER

Macy Kobler is the Social Media and Partnerships Manager at Tankproof. She is a professional marketer and owns her own social media management and marketing company based in Tampa, FL. Macy loves being a part of Tankproof and the life-changing work the team and volunteers do. She loves listening to new music, anything with hot sauce on it, cold brew lattes with oat milk, and laughing!
