A Tankproof Hero is someone who goes above and beyond to support our mission of making water spaces safe and welcoming for everyone. These standout individuals help us raise awareness, funds, and also dedicate their spare time to making a real difference.

This month, we are thrilled to spotlight Andrew Packer – a long-time partner and a true champion of our mission. This summer, Andrew will embark on an extraordinary journey, swimming across the North Channel from Ireland to Scotland in partnership with Tankproof to raise greater awareness for our cause.

For those who know Andrew, it's no surprise that his favorite place is in the water. Whether it's spending long hours in the San Francisco Bay, playing water polo at Cal on Wednesday afternoons, or simply floating in the neighbourhood pool, Andrew finds peace, comfort, and fulfillment in the water. Now, he’s channeling this passion to make aquatic spaces safe and welcoming for all, believing that everyone deserves to feel comfortable in the water.
