THE EvoLUTION OF OUR EVENTS
Through facilitating swim lessons and providing food security to communities in need, we integrated an aspect that we felt was essential to making our impact even stronger:
community connection through events
We felt that the missing piece in our work was to add an experience that would allow our attendees to feel connected to one another. So as creatives and musicians by trade, our natural inclination was to lean towards organizing community events to engage both the people we serve and the partners who make all of our work possible.
Our community events have evolved over the years from small and intimate post-swim social chats to concerts and food booths at music festivals like Austin City Limits Music Festival.

Resource Day
Our first-ever Resource Day is set for November 19! We’ll be providing 50+ garden boxes with seeds and soil for the Booker T. Washington community. Without the know-how of @urb.garden and the generosity of @fwfglife, this wouldn’t be possible. Food for the community will be provided by @favoritepizzaaustin.
